Change of Environment Key In Decision to Join Kotoko - Emmanuel Gyamfi

Former Wa All Stars wing wizard Emmanuel Gyamfi has revealed change of environment as the key factor in his decision to switch camp to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The speedy wideman lighted the 2014/15 FCPPL season whiles with Wa All Stars but opted not to renew his contract with the Blues amidst flurry of offers for his services.

The trickery youngster surprisingly opted not to join any local rival at the start of the current season before finally settling with Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the second registration window.

The Kumasi Asante Kotoko new arrival openly cited change of environment and the honor of wearing the famous red jersey as the integral elements in his decision to join Micheal Osei ‘s resurgent side.

“I wanted a change of environment at the end of the season. I enjoyed a very good season last year but my performance went unnoticed not even any nomination to show for my efforts”, Gyamfi told sports crusader.

The speedy wide man added, “I needed a place where my performance will gain attention at the end of the season.

It is always an honour and a dream to wear the Kotojo Jersey and this is a dream I am living.

I had the chance to join any of Mamelodi sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic, Amazulu, Medeama SC or extend my deal with Wa All Stars”.

Emmanuel Gyamfi enjoyed a stellar campaign at the Wa Park last season with dazzling performances on weekly basis to earn himself numerous fans across the region.
