Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley sealed promotion to the top flight of Turkish football after a dramatic shootout win over Demirispor.
The 24 year old centre back capped a hugely successful campaign in the second tier of Turkish football ladder with a place in the much coveted Super league ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Ghanaian import registered his 25th appearance of the season in an eventful 1-1 thriller with the much fancied Demirispor that has Joseph Attamah at the heart of their defence.
Nuru bagged the bragging right and sole ticket to the Super League ahead of his compatriot Attamah in the nervy 120 minutes of football.
An 8th minute opener from Micheal Pote gave Demirispor the lead but Emre Akbaba’s stunner on 37 minute forced the game into extra time.
Inspired goal keeping from the opposing ushered the tie into the lottery of the yards which eventually ended 3-1for Alanyaspor.
Nuru Sulley lasted 75 minutes for the promoted Alanta whiles Joseph Attamah lasted 110 minutes for Demirispor.
