GPL Match-Day 19 Preview: Liberty Professionals Host Dreams FC

Liberty Professionals will battle Dreams FC at the Dansoman Park in a Match-Day 19 Ghana Premier League (GPL) encounter on Sunday.


The Scientific Soccer lads are sixth on the GPL log with 26 points, and, Coach George Lamptey’s side will feel confident of winning this game on home soil.


The two sides drew 2-2 when they met in the first round of the league with Liberty coming from behind twice to earn a point at Dawu.


They will be inspired to go for the three points as they return to their Dansoman base to welcome the GPL debutants in this weekend’s clash.


Liberty Professionals will be in search of their eighth win of the season, and, victory will aid their hopes of finishing in the top four at the end of the season.


Dreams FC are seventh on the table also with 26 points and have been one of the league’s best away performer’s this season.


They will look to make life difficult for the home side knowing a win will see them overtake Liberty Professionals on the GPL log.


Coach Charles K. Akunnor is been pressured to up his game, and, the former Ghana captain will hope his charges rises to the task as they go in search of the three points.
