Hearts Players Are "Psychologically Fit"

Hearts of Oak coach, Sergio Traguil, has declared his side “psychologically fit” to end their poor home run.

The Phobians have been the best performing team away from home in the 2015-16 season with no defeat recorded.

But it’s the home performance that has left fans questioning the mental toughness of the team – with three home defeats and uninspiring performances in slim victories.

However, Sergio Traguil believes the players are shaking off the mental block that is holding them back from expressing themselves fully in home matches at the Accra Sports Stadium, insisting his boys will carry the day with full support from the home fans on Wednesday.

“We are working hard to get the three points,” he stated.

“The boys are confident; they are working hard and the feedback from the training is wonderful so I am sure we will collect the three points.

“I think day-by-day, our players are losing the mental problem [of not being able to perform] at the Accra Sports Stadium. But I think the supporters need to come in their numbers to come and support the players.”

Hearts will look to cement their hold on the top spot when they host Berekum Chelsea later today at home.
