Chelsea Set Sight On Ghanaian Forward

English Premier League Club Chelsea are lining up a shock move for Swansea City’s Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew, according to reports in the SUN.

Antonio Conte is keen to make an impression at Stamford Bridge as he looks to make the Blues a force in English football once more, with a forward thought to be at the top of his transfer wish list.

However, after completing a £30 million deal for Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante, he is understood to have ruled out making any further big-money moves, and sees the Ghana international, who has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium this summer, as a perfect fit.

Sunderland and West Ham United have both been linked with Ayew recently, but the Sun claims Chelsea are now at the front of the queue.

The ex-Marseille star netted 12 Premier League goals for Swansea during the 2015-16 campaign after arriving on a free transfer last summer and is thought to carry a price tag of around £12 million.
