PRESS RELEASE: IGNORE THE DIVERSIONARY MEDIA REPORTAGE

As Sportscrusader.com reported earlier today about Medeama SC readiness to clear their image after they were accused of fixing matches, the club has officially released a statement to that effect.

The club believes the attempts are to sway the focus of the club ahead of the next matches both domestically and continentally.

Full Statement Below:

The attention of management of Medeama SC has been drawn to news making rounds on social and regular media that Tom Strand supposedly left Medeama because of match fixing.

We want to state categorically that the information is palpable falsehood and caculated attempts to sway our attention from the task ahead.

Neither Tom Strand nor his agent has said anything near the supposed allegation of match fixing.

We therefore admonish our supporters, well wishers and relevant stakeholders to ignore this negative and malicious reportage and rally behind the Club to reach the Ultimate.

We also want to state clearly that this cooked report will not stop us from qualifying into the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

We will never give up. That is the tenet of our motto

Signed:
Benjamin Kessie
Administrative Manager/Communication Team Member.
