Norway based Ghanaian forward Ernest Asante opened his season’s scoring account for Staebik in a 1-0 win over Vikings.
Asante connected an inviting ball from Grossman Cole to earn his side only their second win of the campaign after 10 rounds of fixtures in the Tripplegean.
Staebik made a lively start to the second department of the game after another lackluster stalemate in the first 45 minutes and duly kept the maximum points at home.

The hosts headed into the fixture on the back of one win in the opening nine league fixtures and just one place above the bottom club IK Start but eventually got the better side of their mid table visitors.
Ghanaian compatriot Issah also lasted the full throttle of the game for the hosts as they breathed life into an otherwise hapless Staebik side.
Ernest Asante enjoyed a stellar 2014/15 season but has since made a slow start to this campaign in the Norwegian top-flight league.
