The Ghana Premier League (GPL) will continue with midweek games as the Matchday 14 round of matches are cleared at all league centers today and tomorrow.
Leaders Accra Hearts of Oak will be home to Liberty Professionals in the first capital derby of the season with second placed Aduana Stars taking to the road to play Ebusua Dwarfs at Cape Coast.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko who are third on the log are in the northern city of Wa to play fourth placed All Stars, with Techiman City hosting defending champions AshantiGold at Techiman.
Unless otherwise stated, all the games will be played on Wednesday (today).
Accra: Hearts of Oak v Liberty Professionals (Thursday) Leaders Accra Hearts of will look to maintain their two-points lead at the top of the ladder when they host Liberty Professionals in an empty Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
The Phobians are serving the last of the two game home ban imposed on them for failing to control their fans in the defeat to Wa All Stars at the same venue earlier in the season. Hearts, who have 25 points from their 13 games, will be looking for their eighth win of the campaign against a Liberty Professionals side that sits fifth on the table with 20 points.
Cape Coast: Ebusua Dwarfs v Aduana Stars
Second placed Aduana Stars will trek to the Central Region to face the might of Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
The Dormaa based side are unbeaten in their last six games, and, will look to keep pressure on the leaders by winning in Cape Coast.
The home side are however bottom of the log, and, will be desperate to get points on board in an attempt to get out of the relegation zone and save their season.
Wa: All Stars v Asante Kotoko
It will be fourth against third when Wa All Stars welcome Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the Wa Park. All Stars will be defending their unbeaten home run against a Kotoko side that has won their last four league game.
Techiman: Techiman City v AshantiGold
Defending champions, AshantiGold SC could have their misery further compounded as they make the trip to the Brong Ahafo region to play Techiman City at the Nana Ameyaw Park. City are ninth with 18 points and with a game in hand, will seek to make the most of their home advantage against the Miners who have struggled to find form this season and sit 12th on the table with 14 points.
Tema: Inter Allies v Berekum Chelsea
Relegation threatened, International Allies will welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Tema Park as they look for their third win of the campaign. Chelsea has failed to win an away game so far, and, could find the Tema Park a slippery ground.
Tarkwa: Medeama SC v WAFA Medeama SC who are 11th and have two games in hand, will host the West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) to the T&A Park, Tarkwa in a game they will be huge favourites to win as the academy lads have failed to win an away game all season.
Obuasi: New Edubiase United v Dreams FC (Thursday) Another relegation threatened side, New Edubiase United will hope to revive their campaign when they welcome Dreams FC to the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi.
Bechem: Bechem United v Sekondi Hasaacas
Bechem United will be the odds on favourites to collect the three points when they host Sekondi Hasaacas at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Hasaacas has lost all their away games so far, and, it will be difficult to see how they will turn this around against a very formidable side at home.
