The highest gate proceeds of all time was recorded as Accra Hearts of Oak made earnings of GH¢450,000 from the gates in the Ghana Premier League week 10 fixture against their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko where they eventually lost by a goal to nil.
Reports indicated that over 38,000 tickets were printed for the super Clash on Monday.
The Rainbow Club made the said amount following the massive turnouts at the Accra Sports Stadium which some how led to a shortage of match tickets.
The said amount could serve as a consolation prize for the Phobia club as they painful lost the match through a howler from their Goalkeeper Abdulai Soulama.
