Kazakhstan based Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi extended his scoring run to send Astana two points clear at the top of the league log.
The free scoring striker took his season tally to four goals in six outings in a 2-0 win over Akzhayik on Tuesday evening.
The Ghanaian import followed up his impressive strike last week with Astana’s second strike just three minutes into the second department of the game.
Twumasi is enjoying his most prolific season in the Kazakhstani top-flight after a slow start to his career with Astana.
Astana opened a two goal lead at the top of the log in the opening 10 rounds of matches with an unbeaten run in the league .
The leaders reinstated their two points lead over second placed Irtysh ahead of this weekend’s clash with Aytrau.
