Kotoko Keeper Dedicates Hearts Win to Otumfuo

Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has dedicated his sides slim win over arch rivals Hearts of Oak to the life patron and owner of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.


The record Ghana Premier League Champions recorded a slim 1-0 victory over Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

And Otumfuo who had promised the team a new bus redeemed his pledge and asked in return for a win over Hearts and the Reds delivered on Monday.


Annan in an interview with Sportscrusader.com, he said, “we wanted to do something for Nana because we knew a defeat will only add more pressure.”


“Nana’s team talk is always a morale booster and a great incentive for the team and as a result we needed to beat Hearts to make Nana happy just as he did  givibyng us a new bus,” he added.
