America based Ghanaian midfielder Gershon Koffie picked a nasty injury in New England’s home reverse to FC Dallas.
The attacking midfielder saw his brilliant start to the game hampered by a foot injury which could see him miss majority of the the remaining first half of the season.
The 25 year old New England Revolution in form midfielder came out of blocks in the MLS with promised but had to leave the pitch in tears just 28 minutes into the clash.
Gershon Koffie put his miserable 2015 MLS campaign behind him with impressive outings in the opening 12 rounds since his arrival from Vancouver whitecaps.
The Ghanaian look destined for a spell on the sideline after his latest injury setback for the revolutionary side.
Koffie was replaced by Uruguayan midfielder Diego Fagundez before FC Dallas overturned a 2-1 deficit into a 2-4 away triumph.
