Liberty Professionals will trek to the Tarkwa T&A Park to battle Medeama SC in a Match-Day 20 Ghana Premier League (GPL) encounter on Wednesday afternoon.
The Scientific Soccer lost their last GPL encounter 0-1 at home to dreams FC last Sunday, a result that pushed them to eighth on the table as they maintained their 26 points.
Coach George Lamptey’s side will seek to bounce back with a strong showing against Medeama SC even on their home soil where they have lost only once this season.
When the two sides met in the first round encounter in Dansoman, the Yellow and Mauve’s run away with the result after claiming a 1-0 victory.
And on their home ground, they will feel confident of doing the double over a Liberty Professionals’ side that has lost seven of their 19 games this season.
Medeama, who have a game in hand as a result of their continental campaign, could move to second on the table from their present fifth position if they win this one and other results go their way.
They will be in confident mood going into this tie after they drew 1- with Tanzanian side, Young Africans in the CAF Confederation Cup tie in Dar es Salam last Saturday.
