Kotoko Coach Admits Ronaldo Effect in Inter Allies Stalemate

Kumasi Asante Kotoko assistant coach, Godwin Ablordey has credited Bennett ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’ Ofori for the 1-1 draw against Inter Allies.

The quick-footed player, who has moulded his style of play around his Portuguese and Real Madrid icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, opened the scoring for the Porcupine Warriors.

And since then, was a threat for the defenders of Inter Allies with his pace and goal threat. Ofori appeared tired at the latter part of the game but wasn’t substituted, and this, Ablordey explained, was due to his moments of brilliance should an opportunity fall his way.

“Cristiano Ronaldo was really a threat for the Inter Allies defenders as his pace and quick feet was too much to bear for them (Inter Allies defenders).

“He also made it difficult for Allies to build up play from the back and that gave us an advantage to win the long balls,” he told the press during his post-match interview.
