Liberty Professionals succumbed to their first home defeat of the 2015-16 Ghana premier league (GPL), when they hosted Aduana Stars.

The game began with Liberty pinning Aduana to the wall, and they deservedly earned their lead 4 minutes into the game.
Eight minutes later, Zakaria Mumuni thumped in the equaliser with powerful header from Bright Adjei’s pinpoint cross into the box.

Neither side could score again until the final whistle for recess. The Scientific Soccer Lads came out of their blocks in the second half, and took the lead through Ebo Mends after 65 minutes.
As the clocked ticked on, Liberty looked very comfortable on the ball and seemed to be heading to victory, but a rare error by the industrious Gerald Arkson gifted Yahaya Mohammed the opportunity to draw Aduana level.

Liberty piled pressure to earn all three points, but substitute Derrick Sasraku scored late into injury time to earn Aduana their first win away from home, while suffer their first defeat at the Karl Reindolf Park this year.
