Match Report: Inter Allies 1-1 Techiman City

Techiman City continued their impressive Ghana Premier League debut season with a shocking 1-1 against Inter Allies at the Tema Astro Turf Park.

City’s Ebenezer Agyapong scored the opener in the 24th minute after intelligently dribbling pass the Allies defenders and shot at goal from inside the box.

Inter Allies came out of the block after conceding and led by Ghana U20 speedster, Evans Mensah forced Techiman City defender, Isaac Baah to score an own goal as the centre back turned the ball into his own net from an intelligent corner kick on the 38th minute mark.


Mensah who recently gained a call up to the Ghana Black Stars squad was at his trickery best again as he continued tormenting the City back four to make unforced errors.


The eleven to one boys pushed and pressed for the winning goal, but they failed to turn their chances into goals before the game petered out.


The results mow sees City increase their tally to 15 points while Allies still remain in the drop zone.
