Cristiano Ronaldo took part in training on Tuesday in a bid to prove his fitness for Real Madrid’s crunch Champions League semi-final clash with Manchester City.
The 31-year-old is currently nursing a slight hamstring tear which has kept him out of his side’s last three matches, including last week’s first leg stalemate at the Etihad.
He underwent stem cell treatment last week in a bid to speed up the recovery process.
Ronaldo is understandably desperate to feature against City, but Portugal’s team doctor has issued him with a warning, telling him he risks putting his participation at Euro 2016 in jeopardy if he plays when not fully fit.
