National Women"s League Week 6 Wrap-Up (Southern Sector)

The penultimate round of matches of the first round of the 2015/2016 Ghana National Women’s League were honoured over the weekend with some thrilling results produced across the two sectors.


The southern zone had two draws, one home win and an away win.


Newly promoted Bafana Ladies after recording a first win of the campaign last weekend away from home, were held to a 1-0 draw by leaders Hasaacas Ladies at the Dr. Ndoum Stadium in Elmina on Saturday.


At the El-wak Sports Stadium, Lady Strikers managed to run home with a point, recording a 1 – 1 draw with Immigration Ladies.


Elsewhere at the Maritime University Park in Teshie, struggling Halifax continued with their poor run of form, succumbing to a 2-1 defeat by Police Ladies with Soccer Intellectuals harnessing all 3 points at home against Samaria ladies following a 1-0 victory.
