Former International Boxing Federation (IBF) World Champion, Joshua Clottey has revealed to Sportscrusader.com about his short term plans in other to illuminate a blossom end to his glamorous boxing career.
The 38 year old who was defeated in his last bout against Gabriel Rosado in December in New York has reiterated the need to stay focused and never give up despite some heavy destructive criticism by a section of Ghanaian boxing fans who think he his best years are behind him.
In an interview with Sportscrusader.com ‘The Hitter’ as he is also known, said, “My objective right now is to get a very good fight, if the chance comes for me to take another shot at a World title, I will be glad, I love it when I stand in the ring in the name of Ghana”.
Clottey also emphasized how he is working very hard in the gym to keep fit and stay ready for any competition that is thrown at him, he indicated his readiness for his upcoming bout in June which is still to be confirmed.
