Report: Dodoo Cleared to Represent Ghana

The International Federation of Football (FIFA) has reportedly cleared Leicester City’s youngster, Joe Dodoo’s to feature for Ghana.


 

Dodoo, 21, had represented the young three lions at both U17 and 20 stage but viewed his opportunity with the senior side nearly impossible and thus requested to switch nationality to play for the Black Stars.


Dodoo was a star man for the 2015/16 English premier League champions during their ran in cup competitions [League and FA Cup].

The player was recently in Ghana to join the Black Stars at training prior to the team’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius with this reports will thus be available for selection when the Black Stars take on Rwanda in their final qualifier for the 2017 Cup of Nations in Gabon.


The striker made three appearances for Leicester City’s first team is said to have been granted the permission to represent Ghana.
