Exclusive : Yussif Abubakari And Techiman City Mutually Parts Ways

Techiman City Football Club and their head coach Yussif Abubakari have mutually parted ways.


The former Hearts Of Oak and Medeama SC trainer parted ways ways with the Brong Ahafo based Premier League side after falling our with a section of the fans in the first half of the season.


The experience manager masterminded an unbeaten run for the premier league newbies after arriving from relegated Heart of Lions.


Information gathered by sports crusader revealed that the ace trainer manned the managerial seat of the Nana Ameyaw Park outfit without any official contract between him and the club.


High powered close door meeting between the coach and management of TCFC failed to settle the issues amicably leasing to the departure of the soft spoken head coach.


Speaking to sports crusader after his official departure, Yussif Abubakari wished the club the best of luck and cited job security for his decision.


“I have to come to the end of the road with Techiman City as a head coach and wished them the best of luck going forward. We failed to come to a common stand and mutually parted ways on Monday.


I was looking for job security but things didn’t go as planned and we agreed to go our own ways. All the best to the playing staff and beyond”, Yussif told Sports Crusader.


Techiman City FC shared honors with Kumasi Asante Kotoko to remain unbeaten at home in the opening 16 outings.
