CAF Confederation Cup: MO Bejaia Confident Of Taking Medeama Scalp

Algerian side, MO Bejaia are looking confident ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup Group A tie with Medeama SC on Wednesday.

They have arrived in Ghana in time for the midweek clash looking in high spirits ahead of Wednesday’s game against Ghana’s FA Cup champions.

The game is set to be played at the Sekondi Stadium at Essipong where Medeama will seek to get their campaign back on track after their 1-3 loss to TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi in their opening group game.

Bejaia are second in Group A behind leaders TP Mazembe after beating Tanzanian champions Young Africans 1-0 and they want to keep their 100 per cent record going by accounting for Medeama SC in their own backyard.

Sources within their camp insists that they will not be intimidated by playing against Medeama SC and, have a game plan to neutralize the dangers to be posed by the Ghanaians.

Medeama will therefore have a tough job on hand in overcoming this MO Bejaia side that knocked out AshantiGold SC out of the CAF Champions League before they themselves failed to make it to the group phase of that competition.
