Kelvin Amponsah Debuts For Thai"s Chaiyaphum

Ghanaian international, Kelvin Amponsah has made his debut for Thailand division two side, Marshare Chaiyaphum.

With a disappointimg result, Amponsah described his side’s (Marshare Chaiyaphum) 3-0 defeat at the hands of Ayutthaya warriors as ‘an unhappy league debut’.

According to Kelvin, all three goals conceded were as a result of defensive errors, but he is hopeful that his club will bounce back in subsequent matches.

“The goals we conceded were cheap goals but it is our first match in the second round of the league and most of the players too are new, so the team work is not there.

“But I am hopeful that things will change in our subsequent games”, he added.

Despite the disappointment, Amponsah heaped praise on his manager, Chukiat Noosarung for having the trust in him to play the match for a period of 90 minutes and expressed his resolve to deliver, as expected in subsequent matches.

The former Proud United (Ghana) player joined his new club few weeks ago and is looking forward to qualifying his side to the Thailand Division One League. His team faces Pathumthaini FC this weekend (Saturday) and he is looking forward to featuring in that particular encounter.
