Medeama will be targeting a return to winning form in the group phase, having lost their opening match 3-1 away to DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.
Amoah missed that match due to suspension and his absence was seen as a key factor in their defeat, with the 18-year-old already established as a regular in the heart of defence.
Amoah is reportedly serving a suspension and will make an immediate return to coach Prince Owusu’s starting line-up and partner Paul Aidoo in the centre of the backline.
Medeama will host MO Bejaia at Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium in Ghana on Wednesday at 15 : 00 GMT
