Harrison Afful Excels As Columbus Crew Holds New York

Black Stars defender, Harrison Afful, starred for his Major League Soccer side, Columbus Crew, in a 1-1 clash with New York.

The energetic full back extended his impressive form with the MLS strugglers at home to the third-placed New York.

American wonder chap, Bradley Wright Philips, opened the scoring for New York before a 90th minute strike from Ola Kamara shared the spoils for the home side.

Afful missed out the last few matches for the inconsistent Crew due to a minor injury but has since zoomed straight into first team action on his return.

Compatriot, Gideon Baah, also lasted the full throttle for the high flying New York but could not add to his two goals in 9 appearances for the star-studded New York side.
