French man Claude Puel has landed himself the vacant managerial seat at the St Mary’s stadium.
The former Olympique Lyonnais and Nice manager is set to replace the departed Ronald Koeman who left for the Goodison park in the off season.
Claude Puel held off competition from ex Manchester City trainer Manuel Pellegrini for the managerial duties at the Academy side.
The French trainer comes with high expectations after his heroics with Nice in the French Ligue 1.
Former New Castle United attacking hotshot Hatem Ben Arfa could follow his trainer to the St Mary as a like replacement for Sadio Mane who look Anfield bound.
