Wa All Stars explosive forward Emmanuel Ocran is targeting a winning start to the second round of the season after their MTN FA Cup set back in the local derby.
The speedy forward rued their missed chances in the cup campaign but has already switched attention to the premier league with Berekum Chelsea looming.
The former Sammin FC striker stormed the opening half of the season with direct pace and quick feet but has pledged to even improve on his finishing ahead of the Chelsea game.
Wa All Stars host Berekum Chelsea in all blue affairs at the Wa Park in the first match of the second round.
” Our first half performance was almost perfect but trophies are not won in the first round of the league season. We will have to improve the first half form or at least equal that if we are to lay hands on the trophy. A win over Berekum Chelsea will be an ideal start to the second department of the season “, Ocran told sports crusader.
The skillful attacker added, ” we missed the chance to win the FA Cup with that defeat in the quarter finals but that’s football and we just have to move on. A double over Chelsea will restore our confidence.”
Emmanuel Ocran registered four goals in the first round of the season that includes one FA cup strike at home to Wamanafo Mighty Royals.
Richard Arthur’s lone strike won the game for Wa All Stars at the Golden City Park ahead of the return leg over the weekends.
