Aduana Stars’ high flying forward, Yahaya Mohammed, has revealed the secret behind his enviable scoring form in front of goal.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward, who started the season poorly, appears to have discovered his goal-scoring boots and has been in red-hot form adding to his goal tally yesterday as Aduana thrashed Ebusua Dwarfs by three goals to nil.
The former Al Ahly Tripoli striker, acknowledged the immense influence the appointment of Romanian head coach, Chioba Aristica, has had on him after a torrid start to the on-going campaign under former coach, Nureeden Ahmed, who resigned after a home defeat.
“We got a new coach (Chioba Aristoca) and through his training, got me back in shape as well as motivating me. He also instructed me as to what to do on the field of play. And this gives me every right to thank the coach and on my performance it is all about the training and the prayers,” he said.
Yahya Mohammed revealed he has set a Black Stars call-up target and with this form, will be difficult for the technical handlers of the senior national team led by Avram Grant, to
ignore him in a national assignment, once he is consistent.
