Leicester have confirmed they will complete the signing of young Rayo Vallecano striker Raul Uche Rubio for an undisclosed fee on July 1.
The Premier League champions have landed the highly-rated 18-year-old on a four-year deal.After beating off competition from a host of teams, Leicester have seemingly signed the forward as one for the future with Uche set to join up with the Foxes academy next month.
‘I like the Premier League. Leicester fits the profile, they are hard-working,’ Uche told Spanish publication AS this week.
‘I think I will adapt well. My style of play is more like English than Spanish football. I have a more physical game.’
‘Until recently, I did not know much. My agent told me there was someone from England but I did not know the team.’
‘When I found out, we went over and decided to sign for them.’
Uche is the second Spaniard to sign for Claudio Ranieri’s side this summer following the arrival of defender Luis Hernandez from Sporting Gijon.
