GPL Review: Hearts, Wa All Stars Win as Kotoko and Aduana Drop Points

The Ghana Premier league returned across all match venues with contrasting results for the competing clubs in the championship.

Leaders Wa All Stars tamed Berekum Chelsea at the Wa Park to complete the double over the Brong Ahafo based side while Aduana Stars, Liberty Professionals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko all dropped points in the opening matches of the second round.

Former Kumasi Asante versatile wideman Chrisoppher Bonney flawed Liberty Professionals at the new cape coast stadium to hand Ebusua Dwarfs survival boost. Bonney scored the only goal for the mistery club in a fully deserved 1-0 triumph for the premier league pioneers.
