Inter Allies’ celebrated forward, Ropapa Mensah, has expressed his excitement after ending his goal drought away to Hearts Of Oak.
The quick-footed attacker opened the scoring for the “Eleven is to One” in a thrilling 1-1 drawn game in the capital derby to keep alive their survival hopes.
The Tema-based attacker displayed a ruthless start to the season that saw him pick the club’s player of the opening half of the season but has since fluffed his line.
The lanky striker admitted to his indifferent form in the second round but pledged to fight till the final match day of the season.
“It has been frustrating for me as a striker, but as a footballer, you have to keep fighting hard on daily basis.
“I have the self belief that I can still find the back of the net on consistent basis and I only hope my goal at Hearts Of Oak opens the floodgates.
“Collectively we would fight to keep our premier league status, despite our current position on the log”, Ropapa Mensah told sports crusader.
The Inter Allies hitman will be pivotal for Jimmy James Cobblah in his quest to avoid the drop with four games to end the season.
