Serie A: Ransford Itching For Debut

Ghanaian youngster, Ransford Selasi, has expressed his desperation to make his top flight debut after missing the opening matches of the season.


The Italy-based Ghanaian midfielder bossed the central midfield for Pescara in the second tier league en-route to their promotion but, missed out on the opening matches of the current campaign.


The 20-year-old midfielder however remains confident of making his mark in the top tier league in the coming weeks after failing to make it against Napoli on match day one.


The anchor man enjoyed a spectacular off-season with the Serie A debutant and has pledged to replicate his pre-season form in the Italian elite club competition.


Speaking to sports crusader ahead of the weekend’s Serie A fixtures, the Ghanaian remains confident of his chances in the current campaign.


“I cannot wait to make my Serie A debut especially after missing the opening matches of the season.


“It has been an impressive off-season for me and I am ready to even improve on it when given the chance.


“The season is not a sprint race but a marathon and my time will soon come”, Selasi told sports crusader.


The Pescara youngster defended his crown as the best Ghanaian player in the Italian Serie B for the second successive year running and will be flexing muscles with the several other Ghanaians for the top flight version of that award at the end of the season.
