An Indication of Boycott By Hearts Fans After Kenichi"s Depature

Some Fans of Accra Hearts of Oak have threatened to boycott the team’s matches after lamenting about the sudden departure of Kenichi Yatsuhashi who they considered a hero after resurrecting the dead spirit of the great ‘Oak Tree’.


The second round of matches is due to start this weekend and Hearts of Oak face off against Dreams FC in the second round of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) fixture to played at the Accra Sports Stadium.


 


Hearts of Oak on Monday released a press statement indicating the Japanese had terminated his deal with the Club on mutual consents.

 


A section of the supporters have expressed their displeasure over the departure of Yatsuhashi who parted ways with the Rainbow Club siting reasons they believed was a witch hunt to get him out of the club, especially after the revelation by the coach with regards proceeding that necessitated his departure on Facebook page.


 


If indeed Hearts Fans do boycott their league matches it will be a great setback as the fans have played a critical role in the current position of the team on the GPL league standings.
