Gabriel Ahmed Targets St George Scalp In Ethiopian FA Cup

Ethiopian based Ghanaian midfielder Gabreil Ahmed is relishing the prospect of meeting St George in the domestic FA cup finals.


The Commercial Bank Ethiopia lanky midfielder missed out on the league trophy to St George but wants to book a continental ticket with the FA cup ticket.


The ex Inter Allies midfielder rued their misses chances in the home streak end of the season which cost them crucial points in the title chase.


“we misses out on the league due to some few mistakes in the last matches but an FA cup ticket is now a collective ambition. We want to win the cup and go to Africa as a unit. A revenge over St George will be great”, Ahmed told sports crusader.


Commercial Bank Ethiopia(CBE) hosts struggling Defence Club in the semis of the FA Cup with one eye on St George in the final showdown.


St George won the Ethiopian top flight with two games whiles CBE are currently fourth on the log.
