Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed has thanked fans of the club for voting him as the Player Of The Month (POTM) of April.
The player received the most votes cast when fans were asked to voted for their star performer for April, and he has expressed delight about the award, thanking the fans for their gesture.
Writing on his Facebook Wall, he said, “Thanks to all my lovely fans especially the fabulous family who voted me as kotoko’s best player in the month of April. I really appreciate and I will continue to do my best and work hard to help the club to succeed. Thank you all once again”.
Mohammed has being in impressive form for the Porcupines this season, contributing his fair share of goals as they seek to regain the league title they lost to AshGold last season.
The player who is also a member of Ghana’s national U-20 team, has scored some important goals this season, including a hat-trick in their last league game of the first round against Techiman City.
Kotoko won that game 4-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to move to third on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table with 26 points, two behind the leaders Wa All Stars at the half way mark of the campaign.
