CAF CL: John Antwi"s Double Not Enough For Alhy Away To Zesco United

Egypt based Ghanain forward John Antwi registered two strikes for Al Ahly in their opening day defeat in the CAF Champions league gruop stages.

The 23-year-old former Al Shabaab centre forward extended his fine scoring in the preliminary stages of the continental club football with two sumptuously taken goals in 3-2 defeat away to Zesco United.

Antwi pulled for parity for Ahly after going behind to an early strike from namesake John Ching but two strikes from Cletus Chama opened a 2 goal lead for the host later on.

The inspired Ghanain forward again pulled one back for his Egyptian giants moments after trailing 3-1 but could not complete that dream hatrick with chances aplenty.

Ahly remains third on the log after the opening round of fixtures in the CAF Champions league gruop stages.
