The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday unveiled a new trophy for this year’s Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the conference room of the FA’s secretariat in Accra.
The event was attended by PLB boss Ashford Tetteh Oku as well Nana Bayin Eyisin who sat in for GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi who is currently out of the country.
In addition the winner of this season’s GPL will receive a whopping $30,000 as prize money, the GFA confirmed.
As the 2015/2016 GPL enters it latter stages team, this will serve as a big boost especially for team vying for the ultimate trophy.
