Liberty Coach Is Lacking Sleep!

Liberty Professionals under-fire coach, George Lamptey, has revealed his side’s recent poor string of results is costing him sleep.

The Scientific Soccer Lads, in the first round of the 2015/16 season, had recorded seven wins, lost five and drew three, but same cannot be said of the team’s performance in the second round, with just four games to end the season.

The Dansoman-based club was held at home by West African Football Academy (WAFA), threatening their fourth place finish aspiration.

And Lamptey, speaking in an interview, mentioned that his team’s lack of ruthlessness in front of goal has got him worried.
“Yes, there is pressure [on me] and it is costing me sleepless nights. We create the chances but [we] are unable to score more goals from them but we will continue working as a team.”
“Though our confidence might have suffered a blow, we are playing well and that gives me reason to not allow the boys lose courage as we aim to retain our premier league status.”

Liberty Professionals travel away on match week 27 to face debutant, Techiman City, in a must-win clash for either side with just one point separating them in 12th and 13th positions respectively.
