My Team Selection Against Techiman City Was the Best Available - Traguil

Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sergio Traguil, has insisted that his team selection against Techiman City in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) week 24 action as the best available after some regulars were missing from the starting line up.

Most supporters of Hearts criticized Traguil for not selecting the best players for their crucial encounter Techiman City there by making them earn a point which they deem unsatisfactory, especially after league leaders WA All Stars had been beaten by Ebusua Dwarfs by a goal to nil.

In a post match interview with the press, Coach Traguil said : “my starting line up was the best possibly line up,we do our best to select the best for the team, we had some minor injury before the game,so i dont believe in the assertion that we lost the game because of the selection,we registered over 30 players and i believe that everyone is equally good to start the game.”

He added that Isaac Mensah who has a key component of the Hearts team had a minor injury before the game and he personally told him he was not fit to feature in the match, so it wasn’t a deliberate move by him to bench him.

Hearts of Oak have an uphill task in their next match as they travel to Wa to face the league leaders WA All stars in match week 25 of the GPL on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
