We Want To Win League Title - Aduana Captain

Aduana Stars captain, Godfred Saka, has said his side’s target remains winning the coveted league trophy.

The 2010 champions started the season poorly, after being branded favourites to win the title prior to the commencement of the 2015/16 season.

But after the appointment of Bulgarian, Cioba Aristoca as head coach, the Adansi side have maintained consistency.

And their 2-0 victory over defending champions, Ashgold, has seen them keep hold of second place and just a point behind leaders Wa All Stars.

Saka, in a post-match interview, mentioned that they remain focused on winning their second league trophy.

He said; “It was a very difficult game against the defending champions who are struggling this season.

“But the coach’s advice prior to the match, was to go all out and win the game as we continue to fight for the title.”

Aduana travel to Sogakope to face West African Football Academy (WAFA), arguably their toughest clash thus far this season.
