Ex-Wa All Stars Defender Targets Success in PSL Debut

Former Wa All Stars defender, Joseph Adjei, has predicted a flourishing season with his PSL side after completing a switch to Cape Town City FC.


The lanky central defender excelled at the Wa Park to earn a move to South African side Cape Town FC ahead of the new campaign.



The former Ghana Under 20 star however looks poised to display his personal best in his maiden season in the PSL to defend the confidence reposed in him by the debutants.


The physically imposing Ghanaian has pledged to win the hearts of the club’s fan base, as well as, the technical team.


“I came here as a player always looking for perfection.


“The buzz and the euphoria around the club tells me it is the right place for me to blossom into the defender I want to be.


“The good reception offered me on arrival is enough to tell me I am at home”, Joseph Adjei told sports crusader.


The former Wa All Stars defender made his debut for the PSL debutants in a 3-0 win over Bidvest Wits in a pre-season warm up.


Adjei has been handed jersey number 5 ahead of the opening fixtures of the PSL slated for August 23, 2016.


He will join Ghana duo of Lawrence Lartey and Bernard Morrison in the PSL while John Painstil starts his first managerial season at Kaiser Chiefs.
