Rio 2016: Ghana"s Judoka Athlete In Action Today

Ghana’s Judoka athlete, Szandra Szogedi, will today compete in the 63kg category of the women’s Judo competition at 13 : 00GMT

 

The Hungarian-born Ghanaian will compete in the Round of 32 and hope to make it into the round of 16.

 

She faces stiff opposition from the likes of Russia’s Ekaterina Valkova and Cuba’s Maricet Espinosa, who are considered heavyweights in the division.

 

Already, Ghana’s swimmer, Kaya Forson has bowed out of the games after she failed to progress to next stage of the women’s 200 metres freestyle.
