Medeama Sporting Club coach Prince Owusu was unhappy with his side’s performance in their 3-1defeat to TP Mazembe in their CAF Confederation Cup Group stage on Sunday.
The Mauve and Yellows started brightly and immediately took the lead through midfielder Malik Akowuah under five minutes into the game, but were unable to hold on their lead or get a draw from the game.
The defending CAF Champions League champions pilled pressure on the Ghanaians and drew parity courtesy of Rainford Kalaba before shooting themselves into the lead before half time.
The Zambian international sealed off a super game for TP Mazembe with a sumptuous strike to give them a 2-goal lead over the Tarkwa-based club.
And Prince Owusu is unhappy with his boys for being erratic.
“I think we went with our game plan- initially it went well but some things went wrong and you all watched it so i am not happy with the outcome of the game,” Owusu said after the game.
Medeama’s next game will be on June 29 at home to MO Bejaia.
