Thomas Boakye extended his impeccable form in the Swedish second tier league to steer Varberg to three vital points on the road.
The Ghanaian import inspired his Suppretan side to a 2-0 away win over struggling Angelhom.
The 23 year old missed the start of the season with fitness issues and an indifferent form, but has since been installed into the defensive midfield role for the fifth place Varberg.
The former Oostende midfielder bossed affairs in the middle of the park to engineer the win for his side and move within seven points of the summit of the division table.
A late yellow card to the Ghanaian remains the only blemish in an otherwise commanding performance for Boakye who seems to be accounting for his early season blip in form.
He has so far registered 10 appearances in all competitions this season, with two goals to show for his troubles.
