Crocked Fatawu Mohammed avoided relegation in the Spanish Second tier league with a hard earned point in the final round of matches.
The injury ravaged Almeria midfielder missed the drop by just a point after a turbulent end to their campaign in the Secunda Division.
Almeria looked set for the drop ahead of the final day of the season, but, retained their position with an unlikely away point at Cordoba.
An opening strike by Spanish sensation Quique steered Almeria away from third tier football in a nerve 1-1draw game on the last day.
Fatawu Mohammed, a senior brother of AshGold and Black Stars defender, Kadri Mohammed, last featured for the Secunda side way back in April as he has been sidelined by injury since.
The 24 year old midfielder made 21 appearances and registered one goal in all competitions for Almeria.
He joined Almeria from Rayo Vallecano after a successful debut season with Granada in the 2013/14 season.
