Kofi Appiah Confident Of Maiden Black Stars Call Up

Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Appiah is confident of getting his maiden Black Stars call up after a stellar season in the Faroe Island.


The Tvoroyar Boltfelag FC attacking wideman remains confident his maiden invitation to the senior national team is within touching distance after another impressive performance in the Faroe Islands.


The 27 year old former Zaytuna left sided winger called on the national team handlers to extend their scouting network wider in a bit to spot more hidden talents across the planet.


Kofi Appiah tipped the Black stars to return to winning ways in Gabon and commended the handlers for the new arrivals into the senior national team.


Speaking exclusively to sports crusader on his personal expectations at the end of the season, the 27 year old Ghanaian set his attention on a Champions league a spot with TB FC and a maiden invitation to the Black stars.


He said, ” I am looking at achieving a top four finish with my club at the end of the season and a place in next year’s champion’s league stages. We are currently on the sixth slot with two games to the end of the first round”.


The Ghanaian import then revealed his long term ambition of getting that maiden black stars call up to round up an incredible campaign.


“It has been a life long ambition to be recognized by my people and wear the famous national colours as a footballer. My season has been splendid and to be recognized by the handlers of the National team will just be the perfect ending to the season. I am confident this black stars team can win a major tournament and I want o be part of it very soon”, Kofi Appiah told sports crusader.


The stoutly built versatile left winger has been deployed across the flank all season as either left winger or full back in his 14 appearances.
