Revealed: Nathaniel Asamoah Signing-On Fee

Nathaniel Asamoah might have left the offices of Asante Kotoko on Wednesday afternoon disappointed, but he had the broadest smile late in the evening.

The former Kotoko striker flew to Kumasi on Wednesday to hold final talks with the hierarchy of the Porcupine Warriors, but a two-hour meeting ended with both sides speaking different language.

Nathaniel agreed a signing on fee of GH¢ 55,000 which was going to be paid to him in two years, but he could not reach an agreement on his monthly salary.

Kotoko were ready to pay him half of his demand for a month, and Nathaniel had to leave without signing a contract.

Few minutes after he left the Secretariat of Kotoko to return to Accra, a juicy deal fell his way and he grabed it with both.

Aduana offered him GH¢ 80,000.00 as signing-on fee, and he moved to Dormaa to finalie the deal. They also agreed to meet his demand of GH¢ 2,000 a month.

The 29-year-old penned a 2-year-deal which will see him earn GH¢ 48,000.00 minus bonuses in his two years spell with the Dormaa-based club.
