Faroe Islands based Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Appiah is excited by the competitive nature of the Ghana Premier league ahead of the commencement of the second round.
The former Zaytuna football club left winger heaped kind words on the domestic Championship after a competitive first round in the top tier league.
The TB FC explosive attacking midfielder commended the competing clubs in the Ghana Premier for sustaining the momentum across the season bedevilled by lack of sponsors.
The excited Appiah refused to pick out one thing for recognition but shared the achievement across board with the second round looming.
” It is our league and I do monitor it from afar. Ghanaians are the only people who can help spice the Ghana Premier league with match day attendance and branding from the media. I was more than excited seeing Bright Adjie beat luiz Suarez to the CNN goal of the week award. We can build on that and move forward as a country”, Kofi Appiah told sports crusader.
The 2015/16 GPL has outlived all expectations with outstanding performance across board from all the sixteen clubs led by WA All Stars.
