Hotshot, Dauda Mohammed gave the Porcupine warriors a first half lead before Eric Donkor added the valuable second to record a league double over the scientific Soccer lads.
Both produced an exciting first half which saw supporters cheer them on as they could sense a goal packed action at the Carl Reindorf Park.
Liberty bossed the game in the opening minutes without influential midfielder, Latif Blessing but their only goal was ruled out for a foul on a Kotoko player.
