Braimah"s heroics ends Cordoba"s poor run in Spain




Black Stars shot stopper Razak Braimah put up a superb performance to end poor run of matches for Cordoba in the Segunda division.


The 27 year old goal keeper returned to his impeccable form between the sticks for the promotion chasing Cordoba as they consolidated their second place on the log.


Cordoba saw off Real Mallorca 3-1 in the second tier league to return to the second place in the division.


The former Real Betis shot stopper denied their high flying visitors on several occasiosn to boost their return to top flight football next season.


The 27 year old goalie kept his side in the game after an opening pressure from Mallorca before goals Andone and the rampant Xisco took the prise off their visitors.


Braimah tallied eight clean sheets in the opening half of the season but has since failed to land himself a shut-out since the winter break.


The vintage triumph returns to qualification spot after handing over the top spot at the start of the year.
